Accurate Cutting Ltd operates to the highest health and safety policies under the latest HSWA legislation with fully trained staff making the right decision at the right time.
We are also extremely proud to hold a gold 100% rating for our health and safety systems through the SiteWise online contractor management system. This has been set up by SiteSafe NZ Inc. where we are also listed as preferred Contractors for a number of Dunedin firms.

Accurate Cutting Ltd is the first Dunedin company to have all experienced staff NZQA qualified through BCITO in the Level 4, NZ Certificate in Concrete (Specialist) with a strand in Concrete Sawing and Drilling, or working towards the qualification (currently in apprenticeships).
All of our sites require a JSA (Job Safety Analysis or Area Task Analysis) or an SSSP (Site Specific Safety Plan) to be completed.
Specialised equipment with individual hazard assessments and procedures.
Staff undertake pre-employment, post accident and random (on site) monthly drug and alcohol testing (the only firm in Dunedin who do on site random testing).
Staff are required to be involved in regular tool box meetings, equipment and vehicle inspections.
Staff are given opportunity to have active involvement in health and safety for Accurate Cutting Ltd.
Staff are required to undertake training in the following:
- Site Safety
- Confined Spaces
- Height Harness
Our staff are trained in hazard/risk identification and control procedures to align with our company risk register, abiding to the latest HSWA Legislation.
Accurate Cutting Ltd are able to provide comprehensive health and safety documentation and also require the same from our sub-contractors.
